24 Feb Scorpions “The Good Die Young”
[en]German hard rock veterans Scorpions will release their final studio album, «Sting In The Tail», on March 19th. The CD was recorded at a studio in Hanover, Germany with Swedish producers Mikael «Nord» Andersson and Martin Hansen.
The album will include a guest appearance of Tarja in the song “The Good Die Young” that has been also chosen for the first single from the album and will be available starting February 26th.
After the release of the album and a three-year mammoth tour, which will take the Scorpions across five continents, the band will end its career. The group broke the news on its web site last month.
“It is such an honor to be invited to take part in the Scorpions last album. I received a phone call from Klaus that was very kind to extend the band’s wishes to have me performing one of their songs. I was not aware it was going to be their last recordings until they announce it, so I have mixed feeling of happiness and bit of sadness too when I got the news. I can only thank them for the invitation and for letting me be a part of their last effort as a band. I am sure they will keep this particular album in their hearts the same way the fans and I will do”

[es]Los veteranos Hard Rock Alemanes Scorpions lanzará su nuevo y último álbum de estudio, «Sting In The Tail», en Marzo 19. El CD fue grabado en un estudio en Hanover, Alemania con los productores suecos Mikael «Nord» Andersson y Martin Hansen.
El álbum incluirá una participación estelar de Tarja en la canción “The Good Die Young” que ha sido también elegida como primer single del álbum y estará disponible a partir del 26 de Febrero.
Luego del lanzamiento del nuevo disco y la próxima gira mundial que llevará a Scorpions a través de cinco continentes, la banda dará por terminada su carrera. El grupo hizo el anuncio en su Web oficial el mes pasado.

[de]Die deutschen Hardrock-Veteranen Scorpions werden am 19. März ihr letztes Studioalbum ¨Sting in the Tail“ veröffentlichen. Die CD wurde in einem Studio in Hannover, Deutschland, mit den schwedischen Produzenten Mikael ¨Nord“ Andersson und Martin Hansen aufgenommen.
Das Album enthält einen Gastauftritt von Tarja im Song ¨The Good Die Young“, die auch als erste Singleauskopplung des Albums ab 26. Februar erhältlich sein wird.
Nach der Veröffentlichung des Albums und einer dreijährigen Mammut-Tour, welche die Scorpions in fünf Kontinente bringt, wird die Band ihre Karriere beenden. Letzten Monat hat die Band diese Neuigkeit auf ihrer Website bekannt gegeben.
¨Es ist eine große Ehre, Teil des letzten Albums der Scorpions sein zu dürfen. Ich erhielt einen Anruf von Klaus, der mir den Wunsch der Band mitteilte, in einem ihrer Songs mitzuwirken. Mir war damals nicht bewusst, dass es sich um die letzten Aufnahmen der Band handelt. Ich hatte deshalb gemischte Gefühle, als ich die Neuigkeit erfuhr und war glücklich und traurig zugleich. Ich kann ihnen nur für die Einladung danken und dafür, dass ich Teil ihres letzten Bandprojektes sein darf. Ich bin sicher, dass sie dieses besondere Album in ihren Herzen behalten werden, ebenso wie ihre Fans und ich.“

[sv]Saksalainen hard rock -veteraanibändi Scorpions julkaisee viimeisen studioalbuminsa, “Sting In The Tail” 19. maaliskuuta. Albumi nauhoitettiin Hannoverissa, Saksassa ruotsalaisten Mikael “Nord” Anderssonin sekä Martin Hansenin tuottamana.
Albumi sisältää kappaleen “The good die young”, jolla Tarja vierailee solistina. Samainen kappale julkaistaan albumin ensimmäisenä singlenä helmikuun 26 päivä.
Albumin julkaisun sekä maailmanlaajuisen mammuttikiertueensa päätyttyä, Scorpion lopettaa uransa musiikin saralla. Yhtye ilmoitti asiasta nettisivuillaan viime kuussa.
