Würzburg, August 30, 2023 – The 2023 tour (including Europe, Uriah Heep) is still well remembered by all visitors to Rock meets Classic, and organizer Manfred Hertlein is already stirring up anticipation for 2024, in which he will present the stars for the RmC today -Concert tour announced next April. And this line up is simply spectacular!

Fans can look forward to Tarja Turunen, the original singer of the symphonic metal superstars NIGHTWISH. Tarja is considered one of the best rock singers in the world and, thanks to her operatic training and her fantastic vocal color, fits perfectly into Rock meets Classic. The Finn embodies the fusion of rock and classical like no other!

RmC organizer Manfred Hertlein: “Tarja and RmC fit together fantastically – she is the perfect choice for us as the headliner of the 2024 tour! We are also very happy with the entire line-up.”

And that can actually be seen and heard more than anything else. And – as always – has lots of “Greatest Rock Hits” in its luggage! Like John Helliwell & Jesse Siebenberg from SUPERTRAMP. The duo appeared on the RmC stage for the first time in 2018 and impressed with gifted songs like “Dreamer”, “Give A Little Bit” and “School”.

Also in the great RmC program 2024: Midge Ure (ULTRAVOX), who last enchanted the audience in 2016 with his energetic show and dreamy songs like “Vienna” and “Dancing With Tears in My Eyes”.
Rock icon Russ Ballard will be on the RmC stage as a special guest. Ballard has two great hits of his own with “On The Rebound” and the Miami Vice song “Voices”. The Brit has also written dozens of songs for superstars such as Kiss, Roger Daltrey (The Who), Ringo Starr (The Beatles) and Abba singer Agnetha Fältskog, from which he will “conjure up” an exclusive surprise set for RmC.

RmC fans can also look forward to Robert Hart, the charismatic frontman of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, and timeless hits like “Mighty Quinn” and “For You”.

Participating for the first time and warmly welcomed: Singer Paul Shortino from QUIET RIOT, who conquered the music world in the 80s with their anthem “Cum On Feel The Noize” and were the first metal band ever to reach number 1 with the album “Metal Health”. Conquered the US Billboard charts!
