SCALA MERCALLI

Marche-Fermo, 1992: five guys with metal heartbeat create “SCALA MERCALLI”, one of the first metal band, from that side, with inedited tracks.

Between ‘95 and ‘96 they record their first demo “Hellbringer”, then in 1998 they are in studio again with ” Gargoyle”. They both reach good goals in the public opinion, most of all in foreign countries (Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Spain…).

Really close to an agreement with a label, some members of the band decide to leave. Only after line-up’s reconstruction, the Italian guys can start their unending live activity.

In 2003 they record “My Daemons”, which receives good reviews, too. Eventually, they firm an agreement with the “AB records” label, for whom they record full length-“The 12th level”, which give them excellent results in reviews all around Europe. In the same period, the band make the video clip of “My Daemons”, screened on SKY and local channels. Their live activity grows when they begin to support more famous bands, such as Lacuna Coil, Shaman, Pino Scotto, Extrema , Blaze…

2008 is an important year: the band gets a new bass player, records a new full-lenght named ” Border Wild” and reaches its second agreement, with Heart Of Steel Records. Their CD is worldwide out in 2009, and everywhere it reaches excellent positions in the reviews. The Wild Tour is the supporting tour the guys play in East Europe: first with Tarja , then with Exodus, going on in Italy in headliner shows. All the band’s video clips are available on YouTube (I will stop the time, Pain , My Daemons), after the screening on SKY channels.
