17 Jun Meta Blocked Tarja’s Official Facebook Page After a Cyberattack
On April 2nd, Tarja Turunen’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts were compromised through a malicious cyberattack. Unauthorized individuals gained access and began publishing content that violates Meta’s community standards.
Following the breach, the attackers posted gambling-related ads on both platforms. According to Meta, these ads were in clear violation of their guidelines and led to the suspension of Tarja’s official Facebook page.
We want to make it absolutely clear that neither Tarja nor anyone on her team created or authorized these ads. They were published solely as a result of the security breach, and we firmly oppose this kind of content.
Despite being in contact with Meta Support for over a month—and even after they confirmed the account was indeed hacked—no resolution has been provided, and the suspension remains active.
We kindly ask for your support in raising awareness about this situation. By using the hashtag #FreeTarjaFacebook, you can help us advocate for a fair and timely resolution. Every voice matters.
